Wildcat Football

Our Tradition

Culver-Stockton College Football is built on a tradition of excellence.

  • Coach Sallay is starting his eighth season in 2024, making him the longest tenured coach since Dick Lemke (1983-90). Only Herbert Bunker's nine seasons (1928-36) was longer.
  • Coach Sallay has had five AFCA-NAIA All-Americans, including Tennessee Titan Andrew Rupcich, who was a three-time All-America offensive lineman.
  • Coached one conference freshman of the year.
  • Under Sallay, the Wildcats have had 57 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, including 22 in 2022 and 20 in 2023.
  • In seven seasons, Sallay has coached 95 all-conference players, including 31 first team and 40 second team performers.
  • Been named AFCA-NAIA Region 3 Coach of the Year in 2019 and Heart North Division Coach of the Year in 2021.
  • Coached Wildcats to most wins in a season (8) in 2021, surpassing the old mark of seven that had been held for 52 years.
  • Current cumulative team GPA of 3.03.
  • As of July 25, this year's roster consists of 181 players.

Your Impact

We did it together! On behalf of the entire football team and coaching staff, I want to extend our gratitude for your generous support. Because of so many of you, we are now able to provide Guardian helmets to every athlete this season, significantly enhancing their safety on the field. I appreciate your investment in our program, our players and their safety.

If you intended to make a donation for the helmets, you can still do so. Any additional gifts received will support other immediate needs of the Wildcat football program.

Your dedication and commitment helps maintain the proud legacy of Wildcat football, and it is because of supporters like you that we can continue to strive for excellence.

Thank you for your investment,

~Tom Sallay '01
