About Mr. Cosgrove
In 1982, Mr. James Cosgrove joined the Culver-Stockton College faculty and quickly became one of the most highly regarded and award-winning business faculty members in the school's history. Mr. Cosgrove has developed and taught business courses on topics such as ethics, legal issues, human resource management, risk management and real estate. Having recently completed his two-year tenure as the named faculty member for the Moorman Professorship, Mr. Cosgrove's 2021 retirement marks the end of a celebrated career at Culver-Stockton College.
While his academic accomplishments are many, anyone who knows Mr. Cosgrove or has taken one of his classes recognizes that it's his impact on students that makes him so beloved. Countless stories from across the generations celebrate Mr. Cosgrove's service as a dedicated and compassionate educator, an advisor for, and later honorary member of, Alpha Tau Omega (ATO) Fraternity, a leader on mission trips involving Culver-Stockton College alumni, and a fervent supporter of Wildcat Athletics.

About The Scholarship
The Jim Cosgrove Endowed Scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis to a deserving Culver-Stockton College student. This endowed scholarship was introduced and initially funded by a group of five alumni who came together to honor the professor who impacted their careers and lives in such a positive way. Please join Tim Fischer '89, Joe Leake '90, Larry Loethen '91, Greg Logsdon '91 and Jason Stratton '96 in honoring Jim Cosgrove.
